Over the past few weeks, there have been several updates to the website, and whenever possible, these changes are incorporated into the relevant department pages. Among the recent additions and updates are the following units:
- Berwyn's Car 900 and Utility 912 have been added, thanks to the efforts of Bill Friedrich.
- Flossmoor's Squad 1320 has been included, with contributions from Matt Schumann.
- A new entry for Glenside Ambulance has been added, again thanks to Bill Friedrich’s work.
- Frankfort's Ambulance 715, Rehab 776, and Dive Rescue Squad 3 have been added, with assistance from Karl Klotz.
- Frankfort Engine 741, Engine 751, and Ambulance 4 have also been added, with input from Matt Schumann.
- Manhattan’s Tanker 1227 at Station 2 has been documented, with help from Matt Schumann.
- Norwood Park’s Car 111 has been added, with credit going to Drew Gresik.
- Oak Lawn's Medic 1, Service 20, Service 22, and Squad 1 (Engine 5) have all been added, with contributions from Mat Schumann.
- North Palos FPD Ambulance 812 has been added at Station 2.
- North Palos FPD Engine 823 has been added at Station 3.
In addition, Dennis McGuire, Jr. generously shared a photograph of North Palos FPD Ambulance 842, which has since been retired. This vehicle was previously known as Worth Ambulance 6712. The accompanying image shows a 1999 International Harvester 4700/Road Rescue model, a classic piece of emergency response history.
For comparison, another image highlights Worth Ambulance 6712, also a 1999 International Harvester 4700/Road Rescue Type I. It’s worth noting that this ambulance is no longer part of the current fleet, as captured in a separate photograph by Bill Friedrich.
