The R&D team at Kyiv Polytechnic University, in collaboration with Delfast, has developed a new "universal" electric bike after six months of joint effort. This project brings together students from the Faculty of Electro-Mechanics and engineers from Delfast to create an innovative product that caters to a variety of users.

This electric bike is designed for versatile use, suitable for people of different ages and physical conditions. The key feature is the electric motor, which significantly reduces the effort required during riding. As stated by Serhii Goncharov, Delfast’s Chief Engineer, this e-bike is ideal for both personal and professional use. Whether you're commuting in the city, enjoying leisure rides, or even transporting goods, this hybrid model ensures smooth operation without exhaustion.

"This model stands out for several reasons," explains Goncharov. "First, it offers exceptional reliability; second, it boasts an impressive range; third, it combines simplicity and user-friendliness."

In addition to its practicality, the e-bike features an advanced all-wheel-drive system with intelligent control. The bike automatically adjusts the torque distribution between the wheels depending on the load, terrain, and wheel speed. This innovation enhances performance and ensures a seamless riding experience.

The newly developed electric bike is equipped with a 48V30A battery and a 750-watt geared motor. It can achieve a top speed of 45 km/h (approximately 28 mph). The integration of these cutting-edge technologies makes the e-bike not only functional but also highly efficient.

Delfast is currently evaluating the possibility of incorporating this new model into their production line. The team remains optimistic about the future of this universal electric bike and its potential impact on the market.
