Affected by high car sales, Indian tire production increased by 18% from April to November 2010

According to India's "Commercial Standards," January 27, 2011: Affected by the high sales of cars, India produced 77.39 million tires in April-November 2010, an increase of 18% compared with 2009.

In November 2010 alone, the tire production in India increased from 476,000 to about 568,000, an increase of 19% compared with the same period in 2009. Among them, tires used on two-wheeled trailers had the largest increase (68%), followed by three-wheeled trailer tires (40%). Industrial tires and jeep tire production also increased by 18%, while truck and bus tires only increased by 8%.
