Stephen Wilcox shared several photos from a house fire that occurred last month at 1N180 Cypress Lane. He provided the following commentary:

This was a general alarm fire with a special call — a two-story frame house. When crews arrived, the entire rear of the house was engulfed in flames. The Wheaton engine went to the roof, while Winfield companies worked the front. Just like it's written in the textbook. I was about a mile and a half away when the first units arrived. I looked in that direction and saw a massive column of smoke. By the time I got there, the fire had already been knocked down and there was no visible flame or smoke left. The photos show the damage on the rear, exterior, and interior of the home. Great job by the firefighters!
