This material is commonly used in low and medium-pressure boilers, where operating pressures usually do not exceed 5.88 MPa and temperatures remain below 450°C. It is also employed in high-pressure boilers, where working pressures are above 9.8 MPa and temperatures range between 450°C and 650°C.
