Application:

    The TR-WVTR-9002 is designed based on the electrolytic sensor method and is ideal for measuring water vapor permeability in flexible films, sheets, and packaging materials. It allows testing of three samples simultaneously, providing an average result for all. This makes it highly efficient for quality control and research purposes.

Plastic films, aluminum foils, aluminized films, plastic composite films, paper-plastic composite films, coextruded films, aluminum foil composite films, and more.

Packages:
Plastic, rubber, paper, paper-plastic composites, glass, and metal packages. Principle
Film:
The specimen is placed between two chambers. The upper chamber is purged with high-humidity nitrogen, while the lower chamber is flushed with dry nitrogen. Due to the moisture gradient across the film, water molecules pass through the material into the dry side, where they are detected by an electrolytic sensor, allowing calculation of the water vapor transmission rate.
Package:
The package is mounted on the lower chamber. The outside of the package is exposed to a controlled relative humidity, while the inside is flushed with dry nitrogen. Water vapor passes through the package walls into the interior, where it is detected by the sensor, enabling the calculation of the water vapor transmission rate.
