The unit consists of a high-flow pump, oil tank, filtration system, heater, meter, electrical control cabinet, sampling valve, and other components. During operation, temporary pipelines connect the device's inlet and outlet to the oil system tank and the pipeline to be flushed, creating a temporary circulation system. The high-flow pump draws oil from the bottom of the tank through a pipe check valve and a pressure relief control valve, then flushes the system through a coarse filter and fine filter before returning to the tank. Under certain pressure and flow conditions, the circulating oil impacts the dirt on the pipe walls, dislodging it.
