Almost two months ago, Delfast first announced the development of a new electric cargo tricycle as part of a grant from the USAID Competitive Economy Program in Ukraine. Now, the brand is sharing more details about this innovative vehicle designed to support small businesses and individual entrepreneurs.

The Trike features a robust electric frame with a 750W rear motor and a 48V 40Ah lithium battery. It includes wellgo pedals, a prowheel crank, and headlights. One of its standout features is that it's completely waterproof, making it easy to maintain and clean.

The image above shows the real-world construction of the Trike’s frame, which has already been tested in CAD software. Engineers are using this model to simulate different loads, calculate weight distribution, and test how other components will fit. Right now, the team is in the construction phase.

The Trike can travel up to 120 km (75 miles) on a single charge, making it an ideal solution for small businesses needing reliable transport to remote areas. With a maximum cargo capacity of 300 kg (660 lbs), it can carry almost any type of goods. Even though it’s not built for high-speed off-road use, it can reach speeds of up to 40 km/h (25 mph).
