TISCO successfully developed TTS443 material
Taigang started trial production of its low-cost ferritic stainless steel grade TTS443 in March this year. Through meticulous planning and strict process control, the company successfully produced high-quality cold-rolled TTS443 plates. These products demonstrated excellent surface finish, mechanical properties, formability, and weldability, meeting or even surpassing international standards. This achievement marked the successful transition of TTS443 from trial to mass production.
By the end of October, TISCO had already developed 8,727 tons of the new TTS443 material, demonstrating strong market demand and confidence in its performance. TTS443 is a versatile, corrosion-resistant material that has found wide applications in architectural decoration, home appliances, and automotive components. Its outstanding resistance to corrosion, combined with good formability, weldability, and high-temperature performance, makes it an economical and practical alternative to traditional 304 stainless steel.
